Meagan Carson, MSN, RN, is currently enrolled at the University of Alabama at Birmingham working on her Masters of Science in Nursing in mental health. During the fall of 2018, she will be entering her fourth semester.
She plans on focusing on the treatment of adolescents and young adults. She believes adolescents and young adults need guidance and mentorship.
Meagan previously participated in a mentoring program for children and adolescents. She believes that giving adolescence a strong foundation to build upon is extremely important and necessary. Not only teaching life lessons and how to survive in the world today, but also teaching them that mental health is as important to health.
