Alice Britt, DNS, RN has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors, Mental Health America, District of Columbia. This board serves individuals in the District of Columbia through advocacy, education, and research. Their goal is to reach those underserved populations, which are minority groups, the elderly, adolescents, immigrants, individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, and persons involved with the criminal justice system. They are currently preparing for the 20th annual conference at Howard University’s Blackburn Center in Washington, DC on May 14, 2008.
