Stephanie Igboanugo, PHMNP, MSN, RN, was a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Master's student at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina. She graduated in December 2023 and is passionate about working with the pediatric population ages 5 - 17, especially the intellectually or developmentally disabled (IDD) population. She is also interested in providing mental health care and education early in a child's life. Lastly, the experience she garnered while volunteering in Lagos, Nigeria, has increased her interest in pursuing the de-stigmatization of mental health care and education in a religious environment, especially in the minority community.
Ms. Igboanugo earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing at Midwestern State University in 2019. She is a member of the American Nursing Association, Texas Nursing association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
