Clarence Johnson

MSN, RN , Masters (Alumni)

Clarence Johnson, MSN, RN, is going into his second year at Walden University in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP) Masters program with a projected graduation date of February 2019. Clarence is a member of multiple honor societies, the most recent being the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Clarence is originally from South Carolina, where he has worked in child and adolescent drug addiction and mental health disorders. While in South Carolina he also worked with multiple elementary and middle schools around Columbia, SC, to bring mental health awareness to our youth. Mr. Johnson currently works in a drug addiction and treatment center in Waldorf, MD. He hopes that they will expand their business plan to include treatment for children ages six and above.

Mental health is very important to Mr. Johnson and is one of his few passions. He hopes that one day there will be more awareness of mental health and less stigma associated with it in minority families and communities.
