Upon graduating from Penn State, Ms. Mieh worked with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. She also worked as a mental health case worker with persons with mental and substance use disorders. These experiences influenced her decision to pursue a career in psychiatric-mental health nursing. Ms. Mieh is looking forward to integrating her educational and work experiences to become a proficient psychiatric-mental health practitioner who can make an impact through advocacy, medication management, therapy, and more in the lives of individuals disproportionately impacted by psychiatric-mental health issues.
