BSN , Masters (Current)

Sabrina Eaton, a BSN-trained Psychiatric Nurse, is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in Psychiatric-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Walden University, with an expected graduation in December 2025. The nursing journey began with a strong foundation in pediatric care, which sparked a passion for mental health, particularly during the critical adolescent years focusing on adolescents aged 12 to 18, a vital stage marked by significant emotional, social, and psychological changes.

Sabrina aims to address the unique mental health needs of this population, including issues related to substance use, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Sabrina has engaged in clinical experiences in school-based settings, military community health clinics, provided valuable insights into the impact of early intervention and holistic care.  Sabrina’ s approach combines evidence-based practices with a compassionate, collaborative style, empowering adolescents to participate actively in their mental health journeys. Outside of academic pursuits, Sabrina enjoys bowling and volunteering at a local youth outreach center, driven by a commitment to helping others. Sabrina is solidly dedicated to advocating for increased access to mental health resources for adolescents, particularly in underserved communities.  Sabrina believes in fostering safe spaces where young individuals can express themselves and receive the necessary support to contribute to a future where mental health is prioritized, allowing every adolescent to thrive mentally and emotionally.
