Audrey Strock, MSN, RN, graduated from MFP-Youth in 2016 and is among the inaugural cohort. During her time in the Fellowship she was a graduate student with the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program and will graduate in May, 2016. A Colorado native, Ms. Strock was the first person in her immediate family to attend college. Her interest is in both physical and mental health and more importantly the integration of the two together. She plans to continue her education by applying for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program next year.
Ms. Strock has had a long academic career focusing on both physical and mental healthcare. Prior to her graduate studies, she had been awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Social Work with a Minor in Spanish from the Colorado State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Regis University, graduating with Honors Magna cum Laude, and a Master’s of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs as an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Strock is also Board Certified through the ANCC.
