Christina Sanon is a dedicated registered nurse currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health at Boston College. With an undergraduate degree in psychology, a strong foundation in nursing and a passion for mental health, Ms. Sanon also serves as a clinical instructor, guiding and mentoring nursing students as they are introduced to the intricacies of mental health settings.
Now in the third year of the program, Ms. Sanon is immersed in psychopharmacology studies and will soon begin clinical and therapy courses in the upcoming spring semester. Driven by a commitment to serve the faith-based community, Ms. Sanon is developing a targeted educational intervention to address mental health needs within a Haitian church. This initiative aims to support the growing population of Haitian immigrants and church members by increasing access to mental health resources and reducing stigma.
As a proud participant in the fellowship, Ms. Sanon is honored to have the opportunity to advocate for underserved communities and remains dedicated to excellence in both education and patient care.
