Christina Sanon, RN, BSN, is in her second year of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at Boston College. She is enthusiastic about educating students/children in grade schools on key mental health issues such as emotional regulation and self-love in the hopes of preventing adolescent suicide.
Ms. Sanon has been working in the mental health field for 15 years and has served psychiatric patients with various diagnosis, including working in a detox center. She started out as unlicensed personnel for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to a psychiatric registered nurse within the inpatient setting. Currently, she is a clinical instructor for a community college, guiding students in the inpatient psychiatric setting. Ms. Sanon is first generation Haitian descendent, and the first person in her family to graduate from college. She speaks fluent Haitian Creole.
She is motivated to learn all she can to acquire the knowledge and skills to best serve her patients.
