Rosa Gonzalez-Guarda, PhD, RN: successfully defended her dissertation, “Substance Abuse, Intimate Partner Violence and Risk for HIV among a Community Sample of Hispanic Women,” on April 9, 2008, at the University of Miami.
Dr. Guarda has also been awarded a fellowship from the National Hispanic Network on Drug Abuse to participate in the Summer Research Institute in Houston, TX.
