Jovon Taylor


Jovon Taylor, MSN-ED, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is currently pursuing a PhD in nursing at Georgia State University, in Atlanta, GA. Her research interest is understanding resilience factors in substance use abstinence among African American male survivors of childhood abuse. 

Mrs. Taylor is a master’s prepared nurse educator with over a decade of experience educating ADN and BSN nursing students and serving as a unit-based preceptor/mentor to licensed nurses and new nurse graduates. Currently, Mrs. Taylor is employed as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents, and adults in metro Atlanta.
