Nicole Humphrey, MSN, RN, is currently a third-year student at the University of Colorado Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP) program. Her expected graduation date is December, 2018. She graduated from Morgan Community College in 2009 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. In May 2015, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
She is a firm believer in providing early mental health care interventions for children and adolescents. Ms. Humphrey is also interested in examining ways to help increase mental health care and access to treatment for minorities. Lastly, her work in primary care has increased her interest in wanting to participate in research related to the opioid epidemic.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association.
