5. National Institutes of Health (NIH) hosts “Caring for Our Military: Considering Nondrug Therapies for Pain.”
June 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. ET 
Dr. Mary Jo Larson of Brandeis University 

Dr. Larson will talk about recent innovations in the treatment of pain in the military setting, including expanded use of nondrug treatments and a full continuum of best-practice pain services. She will also discuss her NCCIH-funded research study on the characteristics and clinical needs of U.S. Army soldiers returning from deployments, the treatments they receive, and their outcomes.
